4th Week

Early in the Monday morning, I do the report and summary for Skill Development Program – TROS to know how much person fail and pass in this program. After finished, I want to continued recheck and update data but I can’t access the system because system have problem “database of system is down for maintenance” or “error”. So, I can’t be continued my recheck and update data and I taken this time to touch up my blog for practical.


On Tuesday, I have been assigned by Cik Asyikin (Syikin) to do 360 Degree Feedback Monitoring for Sub Company under TM. I should extract is 6 sub company. Actually, Sub Company under TM has 11 companies and all Sub Company must be extract but, half of the company has made by Nurul Bahiah (my practical partner). What should I do is, I have been to do extract for all bands (band 1-band 4 and above) follow by sub company name.

On evening, I have been assigned to do 2rd 360 Degree Feedback Monitoring for TELEKOM MALAYSIA BERHAD (Unit TM Training Centre) and under TM Training Centre have 12 sub units. Cik Asyikin divides the sub unit by 2 to me and Nurul Bahiah (my partner practical), so I got TTC SARAWAK REGION, TTC SABAH REGION, TTC SOUTHERN REGION, TTC NORTHREN REGION, TTC EASTREN REGION and STRATEGIC BUSINESS & TRAINING MANAGEMENT. I should extract band 1-3 follow by sub unit name.


On Wednesday morning, I have been assigned to do same task (360 Degree Feedback Monitoring) that I do on Tuesday evening but I have to do extract different sub unit and I have do report for this monitoring. On 12 am, I continued extract and do report 360 Degree Feedback Monitoring for TM, ACASIA, and Sub Company under TM.


Thursday, I have appointment with doctor and I got MC from HUKM for this day.


Friday, I do the same task on Tuesday and Wednesday with do monitoring and report for 360 Degree Feedback. But, Cik Asyikin assigned me and Nurul Bahiah (my practical partner) do for TM, ACASIA, and Sub Company under TM.

3rd Week


I continued recheck and update data for 360 Degree Feedback (TM SME, band 2). Besides that, i also showed the schedule for TM Leadership Competency Assessment Live Run Batch 3 has been assigned by En.Mahendran to me for review and I am required to do correction on the schedule. 

On the afternoon, I showed the schedule again to En.Mahendran. I have a little discussion with En.Mahendran about the schedule and I have been assigned to do workflow for TM Leadership Competency Assessment Live Run Batch 3. I did correction on schedule for the second time and I also have to do workflow. After finished, I sent email to En.Mahendran before I leave.

Wednesday (17/11/2010) is a Public holiday - Hari Raya Aidiladha. I taken leave on Tuesday and Thursday to celebrated Hari Raya Aidiladha in my village at Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. :)

Friday, I come back from my leave. I have been assigned by Cik Asyikin (Syikin) to key-in participants attendance of briefing 360 Degree Feedback system that was held on Monday (15/11/10) at Menara TM. After finished, I continued  recheck and update data for 360 Degree Feedback.

2nd Week

At the Monday morning, I have been touch up my schedule for TM Leadership Competency Assessment Live Run Batch 3 to make sure the schedule is correctly. Then, I continued recheck the assessees result to Skill Development Program - TROS.

For this week, I have been assigned by Cik Asyikin to recheck data 360 degree feedback whether is same or not with data in ms excel that has given by Cik Asyikin and update data if the data in ms excel is not have in system 360 degree feedback. 

To start my task, firstly I have to browse TM system website and go the 360 degree feedback to do the recheck and update data.They have many any folders such as TM SME folder, TM Wholesale folder, TM GOVT folder and another. I started my task from TM Wholesale. 

Beside that, i learn how to install  the printer software in my laptop from Nurul Bahiah.  Lastly, my laptop has the printer software and i can print document.

For this week, i finished my recheck and update data until TM SME band 2.

1st week


Assessment Centre conducts Psychometric assessments for selected TM employees, as suggested by the Group Human Resource Management of TM. The Leadership Centre will then design and propose the required training programmes based on the Assessment reports and the skills and competency gaps.

En.N.Mahendran is a manager that has been given the responsibility to handle 360 Degree Feedback. He has Assistant Manager (Cik Asyikin). 

The 360 Degree Feedback is a HR tool that gives the individual a clear view of their performance at work. Opinions are gathered from the person being assessed, people that report to them, their peers and their supervisor and also their internal customers. In TM Group, this is used initially as a tool to identify development strength and room for improvement.
As the 360 Degree Feedback evolved, the system has now been modified to link to performance. It will also help the organization in planning the career development, succession planning, reinforce the current assessment practice and the assessment of future talents.

For this week, I have been assigned to do slide (transfer knowledge assessment) for assessment by En.Syahrin Yakin. In the same day, I assigned by En.N.Mahendran to do schedule for TM Leadership Competency Assessment Live Run Batch 3 that to be carried out on 24 November 2010. After finished my tasks, I helped Nurul Bahiah to recheck the assessees result to Skill Development Program - TROS for TM TC Sarawak that have occurred in 18 October 2010.

1st Day Practical

I met En.Muhamad Nor Muhamad at HR department. En.Muhamad Nor Muhamad introduce me to Pn.Jariah (KakJu) and she assigned to introduced me to my industrial supervisor (En.N.Mahendran A/L S R Nayaranasamy). I have started my training at Assessment Centre (Human Capital Management ) under group Human Capital Management at TM Training Centre. For to day, En.N.Mahendran only give me briefing about TM Training Centre and our scope of job.
